Piano Music for Two Fingers is played by only two fingers, i.e., both thumbs, both index fingers, and so on. It is intended to be fun and technically challenging, especially where legato is required. It has become a recital favorite and it was the winning composition resulting in the commissioning of Toccata, for the 2003 Renée Fisher Piano Competition. It was premiered by the composer on April 12, 1999 at the Donald Wright Auditorium in Pasadena, California.
